I took the bike out for a short spin yesterday and it is incredible. I’ve never been on 35mm tires on the road before and the bike rides like a dream. It is truly a privilege to be able to ride your bikes. My first Firefly has brought me over 10 years of joy and freedom on the bike, and I’m looking forward to many years of joy on this new machine and the one coming. It took lots of convincing from my partner and friends to allow myself such an indulgence, and I’m so glad I listened to them. I turn 48 in just a few weeks and this is a hell of a birthday gift to myself. I’m incredibly grateful for the nudge they gave me, and even more grateful for your clear communication and willingness to hold my hand through this process. I would have a way less cool bike without your guidance every step of the way. 

I know I said some of these things to you in person when I visited for the fit back in October, but I wanted to make sure I said them again. It is really a gift and a privilege to be able to have your bikes to ride.
