The bike industry sometimes uses “gravel” as if it has a set definition, but the reality is that it means very different things to different people and in different locations. That’s why you’ll see some stock gravel bikes designed like old hardtail mountain bikes and some with geometries like road racing bikes that just fit bigger tires.
Over the years, we’ve built hundreds of bikes for every use and terrain you can dream up; from gravel racing to bike-packing, and from the infamous gravel around Emporia, Kansas, to isolated dirt roads and paths of Romania, to picturesque but sometimes washed out farm roads in Vermont, to the road to single track transitions of the “gravel” routes around Boston, and on and on.
That variety of uses is what makes our custom process so valuable. Our expertise, part what makes our bikes special, is knowing how to fit, design, and build bikes for any and all of those possibilities.
We’ve developed technologies like adaptive butting, our 3D printed chainstay yoke, and our Ti fork to help us tailor each bike perfectly to your needs. And, most importantly, we know how to effectively apply those technologies and the vast possibilities with custom frame design to create the perfect bike for the way you want to ride.
