Below the surface of this titanium road bike lies an all-out performance based platform designed to keep focus on the road. The frame, surface finish and parts were all selected to reflect our “truth to material” design and build aesthetic…
We believe that on the road a truly amazing bicycle should disappear beneath you. A properly designed frameset mated with a smart mix of high performance componentry helps to make that possible.
For the gruppo we chose Shimano Dura-Ace mechanical, arguably the the most reliable and durable of performance parts.
ENVE makes the finest high performance carbon fiber parts currently available. On this build ENVE we chose to use their compact bars, stem and 2.0 fork.
The wheels were hand built by our local legendary wheelbuilder Justin Spinelli of Luxe Wheelworks. Attention to detail is everything when building wheels at this level, and Justin is not short on the proper techniques.
The surface treatment on the frame consists of selected polished anodization coupled with a zirconium blasted finish.
We chose to use a lightweight oversized bottom bracket shell so that we could outfit it with the Parlee Cycles PF30 Shimano adapter. This adapter contains optional ceramic bearings and is lighter weight and much smoother than the standard Dura-Ace bottom bracket.
We made the titanium seatpost with a 2omm offset and finished it to match.
The Prologo saddle leatherwork was hand done by Busyman Bicycles. Check out some of their other amazing work here: XXX
The titanium waterbottle cages were handmade by King Cages… with a little aesthetic intervention by us.
